Summer time is garden time! Here are some photos from this week. Alliums and Ferns, these alliums were planted last year to look like they are 'floating' in the ferns.

The plant of the day is the Bleeding Heart!
Bleeding heart is a Spring blooming classic flower. The Bleeding heart forms multiple long arching stems of mini heart shaped flowers each spring time. It has fine delicate fern like foliage, perfect for a shade bed. Flowers really do look like hearts on a stem! Though it does not look like it, this plant is tough and long lived.
It is a lovely plant and something to look forward to seeing each Spring. This plant will go dormant later in the summer |
