Summer time is garden time! Here are some photos from this week. Alliums and Ferns, these alliums were planted last year to look like they are 'floating' in the ferns. |

 Plant. Water. Grow. Late Spring perennials are really growing fast! Many of these were planted last year!

 The plant of the day is the Bleeding Heart!
Bleeding heart is a Spring blooming classic flower. The Bleeding heart forms multiple long arching stems of mini heart shaped flowers each spring time. It has fine delicate fern like foliage, perfect for a shade bed. Flowers really do look like hearts on a stem! Though it does not look like it, this plant is tough and long lived.
It is a lovely plant and something to look forward to seeing each Spring. This plant will go dormant later in the summer |
