Are the bulbs in trouble? What is going on? Is any one having trouble with their bulbs this year?
The ground is bare, there is no snow to protect the plants. When it was warm a lot of the little bulbs started to poke up out of the ground because they thought maybe it was time to wake up ! You might be wondering will the bulbs bloom this year??
Bulb foliage may get a little damaged on the tips from all this cold but as long as the flower tip is not out of the ground the bulbs should still bloom this year! |

No, you are not imagining it, this April has been dry!According
to the trib, we are at 1/3 normal rain. If you have newly planted
garden areas, especially trees planted last fall be sure to keep them
watered!
Wow, this is interesting, it sure makes you want toseeagreen flash!

Spring is just around the corner! This is pretty interesting link from the Tribune. It is amazing to me that it looks like we are really having the mildest winter in 80 years, since 1931 - 1932. It is also amazing to think the weather predictions were for the 'worst' winter ever just a couple months ago!
